Like all of my services, I personalize your Jewish wedding ceremony. I work with each unique couple, within a large span of Jewish wedding customs and styles, to prepare for the wedding and craft a meaningful ceremony with an accompanying ketuba if desired. If you choose to do a ceremony in the greater Seattle area I can also officiate - if you are not in Seattle I can help you through all the preparations and coordinate with your local officiant.

Wedding Preparation

Even if I can’t officate at your wedding, I can still work with you and your future spouse to prepare for your wedding day. For questions or to schedule your first zoom session and your complimentary 20-minute initial phone consultation, please Contact Me. I will call you ASAP to schedule.

Custom Tailored Ceremony Design Package includes:

  • Initial 20-minute phone consultation (Free of charge)

  • 3 zoom meetings (additional add-on sessions available)

  • Google doc design, customization, editing, communication, answering of comments, emails etc.

See ‘What to Expect’ below.

Customized Ceremony Siddur I can put together and format all the text you need for a customized ceremony siddur. You can print it as is or send to a graphic artist.

Ketubah Writing Whether you want a Reciprocal Kiddushin Ketuba, a non-traditional Ketubah or a traditional Ketubah with a prenup I can work with you and write your ketubah text.

Pre-Marital Spiritual Counseling All couples can benefit from preparing spiritually and religiously for married life. It is especially recommended for couples with differing observance approaches and for interfaith couples.

My speciality is what I refer to as Reciprocal Kiddushin ceremonies and their accompanying Ketubot - Jewish weddings with all the lovely traditional pieces but which do not leave the bride at risk for iggun.

If you are not familiar with the trauma of agunot, or even if you are, this video speaks for itself. Click Here for more info.

Custom Tailored Officiant Package

Package includes:

  • Initial 20-minute phone consultation (Free of charge)

  • 3 preparatory zoom meetings (additional sessions available as add-ons)

  • Google doc design, customization, editing, communication, answering of comments, emails etc.

  • The actual wedding ceremony

What to Expect: In our initial consultation meeting I will get to know you and discuss how to make the ceremony for this important life event just as you want it to be. Before our first zoom meeting I put together a rough outline for the ceremony on a google doc and share it with you so that you can make comments and ask questions. During the meetings we go over it and customize it, tailoring it to fit your personal preferences as well as determining who will do what. If you desire a ketubah we will do the same with the ketubah. After the details of the ceremony are hammered out we have one final zoom meeting to go over everything, practice your parts and answer any questions you may have. And then there is the actual wedding ceremony at your choice of venue!

Note: A fifty percent non-refundable deposit is needed to hold the date for your island wedding and final payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding. Travel fees for the day of the ceremony apply and vary depending on location. If the venue does not provide a chuppah I have one that can be rented. You can pick it up yourself or I can deliver it to the venue for a delivery fee.

FYI: The only things absolutely neccessary for your Jewish wedding are: You (the couple), me (the officiant), a chupa or a tallit (prayer shawl) to be held over your heads, some wine or grape juice, a location, and a ketuba if desired. For a traditional ceremony two Jewish witnesses are also needed. That said, many couples desire to have things like Flowers and Decorations, Food and Beverages, Music, Photography and/or Videography, Equipment Rentals, Transportation and of course, a beautiful Venue. I do not yet have a list of local vendors to share with you as I recently relocated from Hawaii. I hope to compile one in the near future.
