A Taste of Jewish Living – Intro to basic Jewish Observance
The goal of this course series is to offer a taste of the beauty and simplicity of living a Jewish lifestyle and to begin to unload the word observant. There is a common perception that living an observant Jewish life is complicated and difficult. In reality it is quite simple.
Each of these practical courses is meant to give an understanding of how the tools offered to us in basic Jewish observance can enhance our spirituality and enable us to connect with the Divine. Participants will learn the nuts and bolts of the subjects and how to utilize these tools in their daily lives.
The Spiritual Energetics of the Seasons
The goal of this course series is to promote an awareness of the varying energies that flow in the world throughout the year. Participants will learn when specific energies are most available from a Kabbalistic perspective and will discuss various ways to harness these energies and manifest the divine qualities into our own lives.
A Taste of Kabbalah – Intro to Mystical Thought
The goal of this course series is to offer a taste of the beauty and freedom that comes from adopting a Kabbalistic/mystical view of existence. Participants will learn about and discuss the basics of a metaphysical system that gives us a greater abstract picture and poses answers to who we are and why we are here.
Hebrew Language Lessons
The goal of these classes is to share the beauty and depth of meaning inherent in the holy language while enabling participants to gain the skills necessary to read and understand the Hebrew language in preparation for accessing and understanding Jewish texts and prayers.
