Don't Worry!

Do you sometimes find that you are plagued by anxious thoughts that you cannot rid your mind of?

My favorite line from the old movie Gone with the Wind is when Scarlett O’Hara says, “I can’t think about it now - I’ll think about it tommorrow”. I find it helpful, when I am plagued by worrisome thoughts, to choose a time in the future to think about the situation that is so worrisome. This enables me to release the anxiety (at least temporarily) that is plaguing me.

Nothing in life stays the same. Things are always changing, even if it is not obvious. It is important to periodically reassess where we are with our health and to make any changes or corrections needed.

Self-Care

Do you find that sometimes you neglect yourself?

Taking the time to do self-care is not selfish. It is important to meet our basic physical, emotional and spiritual needs if we want to live a healthy life. Try making a list of what your basic needs are and identify the areas where you are missing the mark.
